The Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools (TACHS) is the entry exam for Catholic high schools that New York City children need to take. In other parts of the country, students sometimes take the Cooperative Admissions Exam (COOP) or the High School Placement Test (HSPT), but the TACHS is standard for New York City.
